2 Peter 1:4 - 4 by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

James 1:19-20 “ 19 So then, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath; 20 for the wrath of man does not produce the righteousness of God.”
Prov 19:11 “The discretion of a man makes him slow to anger, And his glory is to overlook a transgression.”

John 5:44 “How can you believe, who receive honor from one another, and do not seek the honor that comes from the only God?”

Rom 8:26-27 “ 26 Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses.
