Volunteer

Part of the vision of NCC is to see the body of Christ discover the gifts God has given them and ways to find joy in serving others while developing those gifts.  I Peter 4:10 says “Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace .” Great joy and purpose come as we give ourselves to others in ministry.  While we ask everyone to complete the Foundations class prior to serving, there are things you can do now.

We can help you find the best place to serve based on your passions, gifts, talents, and availability.  We offer numerous opportunities for people to serve others, both in the church and in the local community.  There is more than one way to get where you want to be. 

NICHE CLASS

Take advantage of the Niche Class offered on Saturday mornings as listed in the bulletin.  You will have an opportunity to learn your SHAPE (Spiritual Gifts, Heart/Passion, Abilities, Personality, and Experiences) and how these all play a part in you serving in the area God designed just for you.  Sign up on the Niche tab and you will receive confirmation and class materials to be completed prior to class.

Experience 3

Experience 3 – if you already know what your gifts and passions are and have a general idea of where you’d like to serve, this option will be good for you.  Simply choose three different areas of ministry to visit and observe as a guest.  Check out the list of opportunities on the E 3 tab. Simply complete the form and a ministry leader will contact you.
