Make an investment in your spiritual growth! The Goal: For every believer to advance toward being a disciple - one who continues to learn, one who continues advancing toward spiritual maturity.

There are three classes we suggest everyone take advantage of, in this order:

CLASSES FOR THIS SESSION ARE CLOSED - NEXT SESSION STARTS AUGUST 22

The Essentials - This is our first class for new members.  It provides a practical explanation of basic Biblical topics that help shape our understanding of God and the Christian faith.  Topics include: “The Lordship of Christ,” “The Authority of Scripture,” “Faith Toward God,” and six more insightful topics.  One student said, “It reminded me of many things I had lost sight of and it reconnected me to the very foundation of my relationship with God.”

Spiritual Gifts - God knows you, He loves you, and He considers you special enough to give you a personal gift so you can serve Him.  Discovering and utilizing your spiritual gifts is one of the most exciting adventures a person can have with God.  Learn how to identify, develop, and begin using your gifts today. One student said, "God showed me my gifts and calling and confirmed it through this course.”

Spiritual Covering- In the Old Testament, God placed a pillar of fire and a pillar of cloud before his people to assure them of His covering presence. Today, He has employed a wide range of protective covering over the Christian.  This class is designed to help identify and cooperate with God’s perspective about covering - at home, work, and everywhere you go. One student said, “I wish I had taken this class three bosses ago!”  The class incorporates John Bevere’s book, Under Cover.

A Woman's Guide to Spiritual Warfare - Today's women face unique difficulties that can only be won in the context of spiritual warfare. Spiritual warfare is not just for the pastor, it is for everyone. Protect your home and family from spiritual darkness and attacks of the enemy. Know the enemy’s tactics and how to have victory over them. Single or married, all women need to learn how to stand and fight.

Practical Applications for Every Christian - This class is rich in practical applications such as, Discovering the Richness of God’s Word; Cooperating with God to Receive His Abundance; Moving from Faith to Faith; Dealing with Bible Mysteries; and Faith for Healing. (5 weeks)

Your Personality – God's Design   - Why spend a lifetime trying to change who you are when God created you to be you?  Your personality plays a role in how you release your gifts. Look at the personalities of Biblical characters and world leaders. Enhance your strengths and minimize weaknesses.  Improve communication at home, work, and even church.  Fun and fascinating! (6 weeks)

Counseling 1   - We are all faced with the need to counsel or help others through difficult circumstances.  Knowing what to say and when to say it can seem overwhelming.  Learn counseling techniques and procedures that will equip you to be a catalyst for emotional and spiritual wholeness for yourself and others.  Practical applications you can begin using right away. (8 weeks)

The Indestructible Marriage   - Unbreakable…permanent…enduring…Do these words describe your marriage?  They can!  You and your spouse have the ability to safeguard your relationship and build within it a place of joy, intimacy, security, pleasure and permanence.  In this series, find important keys to affair-proof and divorce-proof your marriage, and have lasting romance.

Whether you are a brand new Christian or if you have been a Christian for many years, there are classes for you at New Covenant Church. You do not have to be a member to join any of these classes.
